This dream took place in a school. the 'feeling' about it told me it was my high school. Though there were off things that made it so it didn't look like any part of it.
I was there with Scorch and 'Chatty', we were doing a LARP of some sort and were practicing in the hallways. We had a small marked off area near the entrance of the school. I was dressed as some female character that would be a princess or magic user or the likes, a typical 'cute heroine' role that I would be likely to play.
Scorch was some strange animal type of character that didn't really fit into any of the stories I'd have written (But had had to write the story around to work her character into it) but it fit her character well enough. And Chatty was an obnoxious animal-type (A dorky seal-type thing comes to mind)... really corny and just awful. She'd forced her way into the story.
The two of them had gone off into the office or something leaving me with some of the 'props' and some costume pieces on the ground. There was a part before that where Scorch and Chatty had been discussing the story, taken it without telling me, and re-written it to where I almost didn't exist anymore. I wasn't surprised at this, in fact it felt like I had been waiting for it to happen, and although it hurt my feelings it was almost a relief because it meant I was almost free to go do my own story without having to write around their characters.
I was playing with a mechanical wind-up beetle that had some green on it. I cant really remember what the other colors where, I think it was an iridescent-rainbow-type of bronze or copper. I was fiddling with it's legs when some other people came in to LARP also, they had two polar bears (A mother and a cub) and they left them outside of the office, the mother near me, the cub on the other side of the door.
Chatty came out in her dorky animal costume and, despite my warnings to be careful, upset the bears. But they settled back down eventually. Suddenly the mother bear decided to defecate right outside the door, the smell was horrendous and as soon as Scorch came along we fled the area. I lead them outside to a garden/yard that was grassy, hilly, and near a lake. It wasn't well kept but it was nice in it's own little way, and somehow I knew it well and suggested an area near the lake that was back in, seeming to know that it'd be nice for a game of some sort that we'd been planning where we'd be throwing stuff around. There was sunshine and cotton from the trees floating about, and there were some kids running around in 'dress-up' costumes, one wearing a big pink sunhat and red feather boa. Then I woke up.
