I don't remember much about the dream because I was started awake by my badger-cat trying to head-butt his way into my room.
I remember I was with someone, running around an area that was like an island.
There were a lot of dead/smashed reptile things laying around.
We went to someone's house... there was something said about rattlesnakes, and we ran to some old sheds and stopped at one in particular, trying to hide from someone and failing as she spotted us.
I didn't particularly get in trouble, but we hadn't wanted her to see us.
Then I woke up.

Smile...
I was hired for 'baby-sitting' a teenage girl. She was rather spoiled and bratty. I was toured around the house by the mother, given specific instructions, and then the parents left.
The girl came down to the kitchen table to work on a project of some sort, the phone rang and she answered it, even though she wasn't supposed to and I had been told specifically to not allow it. I warned her afterwards to not let anyone into the house, she gave me attitude, so I went on my rounds of the house and began to lock up the doors.
When I was working on the front door (it was rather difficult to lock) I knew she had let someone in the back door... then I heard sickening tearing sounds coming from the kitchen.
Before I went to investigate, I found a flyer on the front door reading "Someday you'll find someone who understands... and then they'll smile." And on it was the picture of a vampire's grinning mouth. Strangely, I knew it was addressed to me... though I was rather confused about it.
Upon going into the kitchen, there was a man with clawed hands and a scary face. He was holding some part of the girl's throat that he'd torn out.
I should have been panicking at this point... but suddenly something happened... and he asked me how long I'd known that I was the magician. (...What?)
I said I still wasn't sure. He laughed... for some reason it felt like he'd done something good by finishing off the girl... Like she'd been an enemy that would have hurt many people.
