Plastic... penguins?

We are at the house I'm currently living at (my grandfathers old place... it's strange.. so many of my dreams took place here... even before I moved here) and I am attempting to unpack these penguins that had died and turned to plastic when we packed them.
I was sad, so I went and breathed into their beaks and they slow came back alive as they sat on the porch railing. There were also plastic puffin slippers, I was unsure of what to do with those. I was srpaying the penguins with a spray bottle so they wouldn't dry out, but getting low on water.
Suddenly it started raining, it was a refreshing rain that made me happy, and I filled the spray bottle with with it from the water running off the roof.
The penguins were all very pleased with the rain.

"Blood Angels" (lol vampires)

So, yeah. I'm like this young school teacher who's moving back with her family for some reason. Only one problem, The family hates her. She's very different from them, they are all blond, snobbish, and rich (i'm dark haired, and passive). They are constantly nagging her, mocking her, and just being jack-asses in general. (scuze the language).
Then, vampires attack the town. One in particular, a neighbor boy that the family is fond of (as my person is also) and the family had been hoping to marry me off to him (another well-to-do family).

As I'm heading upstairs, my little brother comes to me, worried about the vampires. (he actually likes me.) I tell him everything will be okay, give him a dried plant that will protect him, and continue upstairs to my room, popping into the bathroom to say hi to my very curly-haired guinea pig.

Suddenly there is a commotion, I run downstairs to find the vampire neighbor boy had broken into the kitchen, howling "You are my mate!! Join me!!"
I fought him, and managed to somehow tie him to one of the kitchen chairs.
The family came down, and then said that I was to "heal him" of his vampireness so I could marry him.
At first I didn't mind, but then... they started being so rude to me again. Close to morning, I crept downstairs, and spoke with the vampire. Agreeing that I was his mate, but that once I became a vampire, we would never take blood out of anger.
The dream then showed the empty kitchen chairs in the morning light, and a rather dismayed family. (they'd lost their chance for that new son in law.)

Later, in the dream, I was a vampire, but I had changed the way of vampires...
We took only those who were unhappy, mistreated by life, filled with sorrow.
"The blood of sorrow sings to us when it touches the ground... that is how they call us."
I was talking to someone.
"We do not "Hunt" or feed out of hunger or anger. We are born from sorrow, and seek to free others from it's chrysalis."
I shifted elegantly in the elegant carved "throne".
"We are not as the vampires of old. One mortal, whom we saved from hurt, refused to call us vampires... she called us, Blood Angels."

In the dream, I had the ability to bite, but not lethally, but it was for marking. A butterfly shaped patch showed up on the bite, and this mark protected the bearer.
Young children who recieved the mark were able to choose if they wanted to become a "Blood Angel" when they came of age.
